ACCESSIBLE CHAT
We are working on an accessible chat script and would like to know how it works with different screenreaders. If you want to have a chat on your own homepage please mails us, and we will send you a small piece of code to insert.
We would very much appreciated, if you let us know how the chat works for you.
You can try the chat at its current stage here: TRY CHAT . It will then open in a new window. The chat uses a two frame frameset, one for entering and sending messages, and one for displaying the messages. The last 10 messages will be displayed, and a bell will sound each time a new message is added.
You can choose between updating the message-frame yourself, or having it updated every 30 seconds.
