Anne and Saskia - part 2

Wednesday afternoon.
"Yes, it is Wednesday afternoon!"
School is out and the children come running laughing and yelling. Anne goes home accompanied by Saskia.
"Would you stay to play?"
"Yes, I would like that, let’s just call my mother if it is akay."
She can stay. After lunch they go out, chattering.
"What are we going to do?" Saskia asks.
"Uh… you tell me."
"Let’s go into the village, to the icecream shop?"
"O yes, it’s warm enough to have an icecream. I have money with me."
"Me too".
"Leave your money at home, it is my treat."
"No it isn’t!"
When they are in the village they look around a little bit first. Then they walk over to the icecream shop and enjoy a delicious icecream.
"Nice and cold, I sure can use that with this hot weather, I’m almost suffocating."
"We could still go to the swimmingpool," Saskia suggests.
"Yes, cool idea!" Anne gets out her mobile phone and calls up her mother.
"It’s okay!"
"Yes yes yes!"
They bike back to Anne’s and Saskia’ to collect their swimmingsuits.

"Isn’t it lovely, the water, nice and cool. Hey, stop that, it is cold enough as it is already Anne, without you splashing the cold water at me."
After they are finished swimming they don’t rub down just yet. They take the beachtowels and sit down on the grass to eat potato chips.
When they are all dried up they bike back to Anne’s house.
"I have to go", Saskia says.
"Well, see you tomorrow then!
"Yes, see you tomorrow! Bye."
